The Backyard Gardeners is a group of dedicated gardeners in Chesapeake, VA whose mission is to educate the public on proper horticultural techniques while having fun. The bond and friendship we share originated during extensive horticultural training and projects. Our goal is to promote the enjoyment of gardens, garden related activities and creative garden art. We offer training on gardening topics and share hands-on experience for everyday gardeners in Tidewater, VA. Along with sharing this information with the public, members of The Backyard Gardeners continue to attend seminars and workshops to expand our knowledge and remain up-to-date with the latest trends and practices in the world of horticulture.
The Backyard Gardeners, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status. All contributions to the organization are tax deductible.
